What is the Annual Business Meeting?
At the 2025 House of Delegates Meeting, the Oregon Dental Association bylaws were amended to replace the House of Delegates with a hybrid Annual Business Meeting. This meeting is to be held at the Regional Event and is designed to streamline decision-making, enhance member engagement through a more accessible format, and ensure a robust and responsive governance structure for the Association.
Now all ODA members can vote. Consisting of a minimum quorum of 1% of total ODA Members, and a minimum of 5 ODA components represented, the hybrid Annual Business Meeting is the legislative body of the ODA. The hybrid Annual Business Meeting provides ODA Members a great way to get involved and help influence Association policy and leadership each year.
How to attend the Annual Business Meeting
There are now 2 ways to attend the meeting, making it easier than ever to have your voice heard.
In-Person at the Regional Event
Join us at the Regional Event in Sunriver and be part of the conversation in real time. Attending in person offers the full experience: a hosted lunch during the Annual Business Meeting, 9 hours of CE over the course of the weekend, and connection with your dental community and suppliers while enjoying the beautiful early fall in Central Oregon.
Virtually via Zoom
Can’t make it to Sunriver? You can still participate from wherever you are. Our live Zoom option ensures every member has the opportunity to engage, vote, and help shape the future of the Association.
