ODA New Dentist Award

Do you know a new dentist who’s making an impact in the profession? The ODA Membership Council is excited to present the ODA New Dentist Award. This new ODA award recognizes one amazing ODA member dentist who graduated from dental school less than 10 years ago. We’re celebrating new dentists who demonstrate excellence and inspire others in science, research & education, practice excellence, philanthropy, leadership and advocacy.

Award Criteria:

• Current ODA member.
• Graduated from dental school 10 years or less.
• Exhibited excellence in areas such as Science, Research & Education, Practice Excellence, Philanthropy, Leadership and Advocacy.
• Current members of the ODA Membership Council are not eligible to receive the award.

Nominate a Colleague:

Nominations will open November 1, 2026, and close March 1, 2027. Join us at the Oregon Dental Conference Friday night, ODC party to see who takes home the ODA New Dentist Award!
