ODA Mentor Program

By the ODA New Dentist Council

Thank you for your interest in the ODA Mentor Program. The program consists of mentor pods made up of 2-3 mentors and 10-12 mentees (DS2-DS4). The mentor pods meet once a month either in-person or virtually, attend ODA sponsored events and have a text group for informal communication. Please click the mentee or mentor application button below to participate in the program.

Mentor meeting

Mentees

The mentor program allows students to develop relationships with dentists that are excited to engage with students on topics such as career paths, practice ownership, treatment planning, patient and team management, work life balance, and much more. Meet and network in a casual environment with other dental students, and new, established, and retired dentists. Together you will have the opportunity to learn more about how to lead a successful and fulfilling life after dental school.

Mentors

The mentor program allows ODA member dentists to give back to the dental profession by providing guidance and personal experience to the next generation of dentists. At mentor pod meetings share experience and expertise, while learning about new dental techniques, trends, and changes in dental education. Network at ODA sponsored events with current and future colleagues and meet a potential associate or partner. Grow your leadership skills and diversify your community.
