Call For Proposals: The Oregon Dental Association's Annual Meeting Council (AMC) invites all ODA members to submit a speaker proposal to be part of Trailblazer Talks: Emerging Speaker Series at the 2027 Oregon Dental Conference (ODC), April 29-May 1, 2027.

What are Trailblazer Talks?
Trailblazer Talks provide a platform for ODA members to share their knowledge and expertise with thousands of ODC attendees. Trailblazer Talks are 90 minutes in length and are planned to be held at the Oregon Convention Center as part of the ODC.
Who is eligible to submit a proposal to present?
All ODA members are welcome and encouraged to submit a proposal for consideration by the Annual Meeting Council. This opportunity is open to seasoned speakers and those new to presenting!
How do I submit a proposal?
Proposals will be accepted electronically by completing the application on the ODA website. The proposal deadline is Friday, October 9th, 2026.
Selection Process:
All proposals submitted by the October 9th deadline will be reviewed by the Annual Meeting Council. Invitations will be extended to presenters by the end of October.
Trailblazer Talks Benefits:
Trailblazer Talk presenters will receive complimentary Oregon Dental Conference registration to attend three days of continuing education and visit the Exhibit Hall. Speaker and course information will be directly marketed to over 12,000 dental professionals, with a larger audience exposed to online and social media marketing. This is great exposure for new speakers and a wonderful additional to any dentists' curriculum vitae.
