Many Americans still do not get fluoridated water

WASHINGTON (Reuters), July 10, 2008 - Water systems serving about 30 percent of Americans are not giving them fluoridated water, six decades after fluoridation was started as a public health measure to prevent tooth decay, officials said on Thursday.

CHICAGO, June 10, 2008—Pregnant women can safely undergo essential dental treatment and receive topical and local anesthetics at 13 to 21 weeks gestation, says a study published in the June issue of The Journal of the American Dental Association.

WILSONVILLE, May 15, 2008-- ODA and its fellow stakeholders succeeded in getting the February special session of the legislature to pass a technical fix to the amalgam separator requirement the legislature enacted last year.
