I think when it opened this morning lines went pretty fast. The workers and volunteers were really nice and helpful. I was treated with the utmost respect. -- Joan, Troutdale

This is a miracle for me. My teeth were broken out by domestic violence. For years I have covered my mouth when I smiled, or I didn’t smile at all! My confidence was very low. I am so grateful that I have this wonderful opportunity to smile freely again. The volunteers and staff were so gentle and caring. Thank you so very much for making my smile pretty again. – Sarah, Portland

Thank you for putting on this event. This is my second day. Although disappointed to not be seen [on Monday], it only showed the unbridled need for help by so many people. People willing to stand hours in adverse weather conditions with freezing extremities, knowing this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. For me, due to divorce, a severe car accident and deaths in my family, I have had no attention for at least a decade. Your help will assure health and the beginning of regaining a professional appearance. Thank you again. You will give me the opportunity to become the professional I was once and on the way to self-sufficiency. – Jeanne, Portland

I wish to thank all the dentists and their supporting staff for all they have done in the last two days. Especially the eight nurses from Keizer who spent their own money buying 100 gift certificates at $10 each, and passing them out to the people who spent the night here waiting for the free dental services. Again, I say thank you and good on all of you. – Robert, Beaverton
