One of the most controversial topics in dentistry across the US this year has been changes to the dental workforce as a means to provide increased access to dental care. There are many groups proposing solutions to this dilemma and growing pressure on state legislators to act on these proposals. We anticipate that Oregon will be one of the next targets for new proposals from outside groups.
Join your colleagues in hearing what is currently being done around the country and to determine Oregon’s direction in addressing potential changes in workforce. Representatives from California Dental Association and Washington State Dental Association will share their experiences developing models in their states.
Who should attend?
We would like to see as many ODA member dentists from around the state as possible. Input from all regions is imperative.
What will be the final outcome of this meeting?
To develop an efficient, cost-effective method of providing care to those unable to pay for it as well as to determine if a new dental team member could fit into the solution.
