The ODA Board of Trustees performs the duties of a Board of Directors under Oregon Nonprofit Corporation Law. Each of ODA's seventeen component dental societies select one trustee for every 150 voting members.

Composition

ODA Bylaws state that the Board is composed of four ODA officers, an editor, a speaker of the house, two ADA delegates at-large, one student and the component society representatives.

Terms

Component society board members serve three-year terms. ODA officers and ADA delegates at-large serve terms concurrent with those of the offices that entitle them to their positions. The OHSU-ASDA student trustee serves a one-year term.
