It will highlight the most salient legal, accounting, financial planning and practical aspects of the transition, including: retirement needs assessment, finding the right buyer, practice valuation, taxation of practice and building sales, effective transaction documentation, and structuring the transition to meet financial objectives. Explore some of the nuances of a buy-in/ buy-out transition in contrast to a traditional sale. Discover how to build and use a professional team effectively. Learn when to sell, and what you need to know about the process.
