What to Expect From OSHA Inspections
Attendees will learn about: Oregon OSHA services; employee/employer rights and responsibilities; compliance officer rights and responsibilities; inspection priorities; how inspections are conducted; and penalty determination. Helps take the mystery out of the Oregon OSHA compliance inspection process.
At the conclusion of the course attendees will:
- Be able to understand the organization of Oregon OSHA
- Have the knowledge to able to contact Oregon OSHA for assistance
Mr. Jason Jantzi is the Public Education Manager where he leads the section in providing Education to Oregon employers seeking to enhance their safety and health programs. Prior to taking the coordinator position Jason was a Senior Safety Compliance Officer in the Portland Field Office of Oregon OSHA where he conducted safety inspections of nearly 800 employers in many industries. Jason comes to the agency with experience in numerous fields including; Fire and Life Safety, resulting from work as a firefighter; Construction safety, understanding from work in the construction industry; and Industrial safety, resulting from work as the Safety and Security supervisor of a local college. Jason utilizes those experiences to provide employers a real world method of compliance with Oregon OSHA requirements.
