 Medical Emergencies

If a medical emergency does occur in your office, preparation is the key. This course will emphasize recognition and prevention of complications that may lead to a medical emergency in your office. Dr. Howerton will discuss medical management of the office emergency. He will review the most recent American Heart Association guidelines for CPR and the role of an AED. This course meets the medical emergency requirement for the Oregon Board of Dentistry license renewal.

At the conclusion of this course, attendees will have a straightforward approach on how to handle various medical conditions or emergencies that they may encounter in the office.
