In Hiring Smart, Cindy O’Neal takes a look at the entire process of recruiting and retaining the best employees, with a special look into maintaining compliance as an employer throughout. Starting with attracting the right applicant, and weeding out the poor performers before they are hired, Cindy will take a special look at finding the right fit between the job and the applicant. This includes honing your interviewing skills and making efficient hiring decisions that fit your practice. Before concluding you’ll also get a look at some post employment assessment tools, including free materials you can actually put to use.
At the end of this course, attendees will be able to make better and quicker hiring decisions. They will learn tips on the entire process of bringing on a new employee; from the initial recruiting, to the process of keeping the best employees working for them. All the while learning how to keep in compliance with Human Resource Laws.
Cindy O'Neal, Central Oregon Regional Manager, with Cardinal since 2005. Cindy brings over 20 years of practical Human Resource experience to Cardinal. Her career in the HR field has led to working for several types of companies, including aerospace, high tech, and manufacturing. She has over 15 years as an instructor of HR related courses, including eight years at COCC. As a graduate of UCLA, with her Masters in HR Management and Development form Chapman University, Cindy recently earned her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification form the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).
